What is SwitchPass?

SwitchPass is a mounting system that allows a single I-Pass or EZ-Pass transponder to be easily used in a single, or multiple vehicles. A clear, nearly invisible plastic mounting plate is affixed to the inside windshield of each vehicle using high strength double-sided adhesive supplied with the kit. A special rivet plate is attached to your toll transponder, also using double-sided adhesive. The I-Pass or EZ-Pass toll transponder can then be used in the vehicle by a simple insert and push-down-to-secure motion.

Why use SwitchPass if I use one I-Pass or EZ-Pass transponder in my single vehicle?

Many people are not comfortable leaving their toll transponder attached to the windshield when they leave the vehicle. SwitchPass allows you to easily remove your transponder to take with you (maximum security) or store securely out of sight in the glove box or console.
